Are you an undergraduate or postgraduate student or a recent graduate in Türkiye? You might be interested in this opportunity.
We are excited to announce a 3-day ‘Secure Carbon Credit Management’ Summer School as part of our British Council-funded partnership between Aston University (UK) and Abdullah Gül University and Bodrum Institute (Türkiye).
We will cover the details of ‘Sustainability Policy & Business Strategy’, ‘AI for Carbon Management’ and ‘Cybersecurity in Industrial Sustainability Systems’. We will cover critical topics like the Climate Law and EU regulations, carbon accounting and its applications, carbon finance and disclosure, integration and application of regulations; AI applications, methods and limitations; cyber risks in the carbon credit mechanisms and system architecture and resilience. Selected students will be first required to complete the specialised online resources via our MOOC – covering theoretical fundamentals and extensive contemporary resources regarding the topic; and then will participate in the in-person summer school in Bodrum to actively join the creative and critical discussions with peers, focusing on implementation.
Why Join Us?
Interdisciplinary focus: Master the interplay between AI, Sustainability, and Cyber Security. National Impact: Help solve the real-world barriers to Türkiye’s new climate legislation. Global Credential: Earn a certificate of participation for a module designed by international experts.
