(7–10 November 2024)

The Workshop on Innovative Teaching Techniques in Political Science and International Relations, implemented in Bodrum between 7–10 November 2024 with the support of the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Training Activities Program, was successfully completed as a visionary initiative placing pedagogical transformation at the core of higher education. Conducted under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Haldun Yalçınkaya, the program aimed to align teaching practices within the discipline with the evolving dynamics of the contemporary era and next-generation learning models.

Going beyond the mere transfer of theoretical knowledge, the workshop was designed as an interactive development platform in which participants took an active role. Throughout the program, participants directly engaged in practical applications such as multidimensional course design strategies, presentation techniques that enhance interaction in both in-person and online learning environments, and the management of group work focused on crisis and conflict resolution. This structured approach provided a concrete foundation enabling academics to effectively integrate their enhanced pedagogical competencies into their own institutional practices.

Bringing together academics from diverse institutions within a shared learning ecosystem, the project offered innovative and applicable solutions to key pedagogical challenges in the field. Through the acquisition of modern teaching skills and the establishment of strong academic networks during the program, the workshop generated a lasting and sustainable impact, contributing to the advancement of standards in Political Science and International Relations education in Türkiye.
