Security and Terrorism Studies School
Within the framework of the project “Enhancing Research and Teaching Capacity on Security Studies at Higher Education Institutions,” the Security and Terrorism Studies School was successfully held in Bodrum.
This five-day program brought together undergraduate and graduate students who study or are interested in issues related to security and terrorism. The program covered a wide range of topics, including current conceptual discussions on security and terrorism, security theories, emerging threats and practices in the field, and case studies shared by both local and international experts.
Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, develop analytical perspectives, and gain field-based insights from practitioners and academics.
All transportation, accommodation, and educational expenses for 30 selected participants were fully covered by the organizers.
By the end of the training, students deepened their academic understanding of security and terrorism and strengthened their capacity to pursue further studies and research in these fields.
