During the Summer Term of the 2022–2023 Academic Year, the Social Sciences Institute’s Department of Political Science and International Relations offered the course ULU 527: Contemporary Issues in World Politics as part of the ERASMUS Blended Intensive Program.
Part of the course was conducted online, while the in-person sessions took place in Bodrum between 5–9 June 2023. The classes were hosted at the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce (BODTO) and Zai Yaşam Bodrum meeting halls. The ULU 527 course was jointly designed within a consortium including Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany) and Rakovski National Defence College (Sofia, Bulgaria). Master’s level students from Humboldt, Rakovski, and TOBB ETÜ participated in the course.
The internationalization of our university and the opportunity for students to meet peers from different countries significantly enhance learning outcomes. During the Bodrum sessions, our students had the chance to interact with their international peers, gaining valuable interpersonal skills and experiences that will be essential in their future professional and personal lives.
